Walk away: Importance of self respect

There comes from time to time certain toxic people who let you down far low in your own conscience and breaks you down from within. If you have had spent many nights sleepless feeling utter guilt, hatred, disgust over an activity of a single person who most probably doesn't even remember it, then you know what I am talking about. Self respect is a very crucial tool for surviving in this busy world but sometimes it falls apart when you are attached too much with a person who mostly is somebody skillful at the art of exploiting you. Sometimes, the person can be genuine too, maybe its just that you two don't get along well. Whatever may be the reason, its time you should just seriously think about your friendship rather than obsessing over few incidents which seem to you far more disturbing that it really is. Because overthinking it can hamper your confidence in living your life.

I believe that confidence and happiness are intrinsically connected. The happier you are, the more confident you feel and the more confident you are, the happier you become. So, anybody or anything which puts down your self confidence should be scrutinized heavily. There is no harm in expecting someone you are close with to respect you especially when you don't miss out on giving it. Silently going through embarrassing insults or mean statements or deliberate negligence  continuously for long serves you no good. And the worst part that most of the times, after going through all of it for so long can fade out the confidence inside you to pick yourself up and walk away!

"Toxic" people can be anyone from your online friend to your long term project partner who is utter slacker with no sense of shame to someone you consider "close friend". You realize that now you don't need anymore "sorries" and that hurting you has become a frequent occurrence of him whether knowingly or unknowingly. If you are trying to change him, you should realize that maybe you are fighting with his very quality. Just because he/she can go along well with somebody else, doesn't mean that can happen with you as well. Everybody is unique, they have their own frequencies which may or may not be compatible and its OKAY if it is not. You don't have to be such a saintly person from whom everybody gets impressed and for the record even saints are hated at!

It should be noted that I am not talking about small misunderstandings which are a regular affair in most relationships. There is nothing wrong with them and most of the times, they even act as a way to understand each other better. But they get sort out quickly and are never repeated. Instead, I am talking about someone you probably have already guessed due to whom you have suffered for long enough that it is time where you don't need anymore drama. Its the highest point of annoyance when you no longer feel anger or hatred towards the person, you just want him/her to disappear as if he was never there. You don't want to harm him physically or emotionally, you just want separation.

When it happens, the ideal response is something very very few are capable of, and that is to start cutting off that person gradually and gracefully and filling the space with some other friend while simultaneously behaving perfectly normal and thus avoiding unnecessary drama of "sorry" or rants. No more eyes are wet, no more nights are sleepless, no inbox is filled, the transition is smooth, the friendship falls apart. All by itself. If you have suffered for too long and with too much intensity, may be you cannot do this. Then, the second option and I urge you to do it is- Walk away.

It's true that whenever we talk about any "person" as such, it is not the entire being himself, but the ideas or concepts we make about them in our head, the recollection of memories of us together and we MAY make a mistake in perceiving others and it is still OKAY if that's the case. We cannot and should not be a perfect human being, we have to be just somebody who cares about oneself and seeks little more happiness than what is currently, after all that's what life is about, isn't it? So why bother bearing the burden, why bother trying to know whether you are right or wrong? Simply suck it and Walk away!

What spirituality is all about- Lesson 1 Giving up the Binary Logic

It is all about mind-body dualism. That you are not this body. You are just experiencing it and not -it. But that does not immediately lead to soul. There are a number of differences between Religion and Spirituality and it is that we don't do stuff in order to "please" some deity who created us. We, in fact don't feel like the creator of the Universe to be like person. In fact according to Osho, "theology is all such nonsense".. many philosophers including spiritual leaders have argued that the humans draw their Gods as humans, tribals have tribal God, Negros have a negro God, Japanese have Japanese looking Gods. This is not plausible and indicates there is no absolute truth about Gods which is conceivable.

Wait, how can be you spiritual without believing in God?

Because there is more evidence to spirits, sacred geometry, etc than a religious God. If you make such an argument you conclude that spirituality arises from God but the fact is God in himself is spiritual and not physical. We, in our current sense of science understanding know that the source is something non physical. Matter is just an illusion and almost 99% of everything is actually -nothing. Stuff is coming from non-stuff. Consciousness is not physical. Hence we know source is not in any shape or size- so to say that God created Man in his own image is absurd. This is a sense of narcissism. "My God who created the entire Universe looks like me."

Even if I agree that spirituality cannot happen without a faith in a religious God- then I will ask which God? Whether Abrahamic? Allah? Jesus? or Krishna or Zeus or Zoarastrian God? Which God? If I am born in India, I will believe in Krishna and source my spirituality from him, if I am born in Greek, I will derive my spirituality from Zeus, If I am a Muslim I will derive my spirituality from Allah. So, the source is irrelevant, but what everything has in common is the same thing- spirituality. In fact, "Everybody is an atheist" according to Richard Dawkins. Let me tell you religious Gods in a nutshell- GODS- Invisible, inaudible and imperceptible creatures who created this entire Universe to have a relationship with  creatures residing in absolute tiny tiniest parts of it specifically with one species- Luckily us. They spent so much time- 10 billion years to build this Universe, intrinsically placing each and each Galaxy in order and of perfect size and shape, exploding billions and billions of stars, and then to create an absolute tiny blue dot in the entire cosmos. And then after creating it, still waited for 4 more billion years before realizing that the true test of spirits is to make them a body in his own image and after 14 billion years of perfect creation and world JUST for humans, to test the creatures in order to provide ETERNITY of happiness or torture have given mere 100 years of life with a truly skeptic mind and ever growing thrust to know things and on the basis of their faith for bad evidence. In order to "help" humanity achieve heaven , they mouthed morals to primates, yet had none themselves. Who pledged vengeance upon crimes yet committed the all. Who swore forgiveness yet created Hell, who promised mercy yet sired Satan and allows Satan to live but decides to mercilessly kill and torture all those who gets carried away from him without providing a clear guidance. Who vowed to spread love yet sold us slavery. Who preached peace yet promoted genocide. Who told "Thou shalt not kill" but relevant to be applied only to your own tribe.

Realised the dilemma? We all are atheists to every God other than our religion, some people just go one God further, according to Dawkins. Now being Atheist should not mean materialism. Materialism is now not only old but is highly irrelevant and non-senseical. The "material" which we are made up of has absolute no reason to stay in their place as what we perceive to be. Quantum particles are non-local and we cannot determine their energy or position at the same time. Let me share with you some facts -

The enzymes which we are made of- chances of happening and being arranged in that level of sequence, according to Harvard University Maths professor is 10 raised to 40,000! That's more than the number of atoms we are made up of. So, if we think that it was all an accident, than the probability of success itself happens outside the total possibilities with the atoms. Plus the fact, that the Universe does not comprise of only organic matter leave the chances to be even less. So the probability is zero, not closed to zero, but just absurd. Scientists are discussing about it, physicists are discussing about this. But Materialists will just jump into the conversation and would overwhelmingly burden us with their extraordinarily logical and apprehension skills and can and WILL just convincingly conclude that "this" kind of "accidents" can occur. Now, the basic problem with this so overwhelmingly ignorant and highly biased attitude of saying that a printing press exploded into a dictionary, is that we don't see these kind of stuff happening in our daily lives. A universe which is in order just merely through accident should constitute of components which arrange themselves through accident and explosion. But we clearly see that this is not the truth. No amount of explosion in Earth will make things in order. Reality is more absurd than our wildest imagination of so thin possibilities of order within chaos. Clearly there is something much more than this concept. There are two theories which tries to low down our awe and a non-belief in materialism, i.e the theories which materialists use are-

1) There are Multi-verses. Please note that this theory is different from parallel Universes. Parallel Universes(which is slightly less difficult to believe but still not plausible enough to explain our observations) deals with different Universes which are equally orderly but the events are different. For example, in a different Universe YOU are probably not reading this post. But YOU are still there. And the Sun, the moon and everything which is required to constitute your existence is there. Only change is the consequence of the Universe, but the Universe remains still the same. That is why the term "parallel" and not "different". Multiverses says that there is a "Universe ejector" which ejects billions and billions of Universes and we are just in one of them statistically existing to be able to suit us. Now, this attitude of the argumentor shows that he has no absolute understandings of science and views everything in just abstract form. That every development and progress and hard work is just a joke and has no meaning and sense in a remote form. This only seem to logically explain things. That there are infinite number of Universes having different physical constants and we are one of them which has the elements supporting our life. Problem? The Universe ejector itself needs to be fine tuned! To create different Universes with different physical constants- for example one Universe to create which has the speed of light as 3.1 x 10^8, that universe is to be tuned to be able to produce distinct Universes otherwise both of them will collapse into one. There is no argument in return to that.

2) Universe is infinite and has different components for supporting different existences- This argument has basically come after realizing that the above argument is not sufficient. And also that there is not one factor for us, but there are numerous factors. ALL(I repeat, all) physical constants if disturbed in a order of 1 in 10^120, all forms of life could not exist. Realize the number, and this is not just for one, but all the constants. Plancks constant, Gravitation constant, Speed of light, Speed of sound, and hundreds of them. If even if one of them are disturbed in the order of 1 in 10 to the power of FREAKING 120, we could not exist. To say that this is just an accident is not sensible and is not logical to begin with. This fact can be confirmed with any theoritical physicist if you don't trust my knowledge. This is why almost all physicists are now increasingly becoming interested in the supernatural, or life after death, consciousness, etc. Even doctors. Which leads to numerous experiments on death and observations and studes on consciousness and spiritual healing, we will discuss them in later posts.

For now debunking the argument. Universe is infinite and in its infinite sphere of existence, it has different laws and we are in one of the region. In short, Universal constants are not not universal. If we accept this, even then our observations are not coinciding. If we slice our matters and explore the quantum mechanics, they are so nasty that they just ridicule our mechanics in our face. Projectile motion, gravitational force makes absolute no sense in the quantum world. The laws are completely different. So the particles we are made of, do not follow the law we do. Wait what? The "stuff" which we are made of does not follow the laws which we do. So, in the same region of Universe, the laws are different for different scales of world. Needless to also say, the region is highly in order and we have no connection to relate the two world. No connection at all. In this reality, argumenting such non-sensical statements is just absurd is not coming from a scientific mind. These minds are highly biased towards thinking stuff which they want to think and believe. This is just running from reality and turns down our desire to know more and more. Just like what religions do.

While religions try to put God in everything, Materialists try to remove God from everything. To think that same of region of Universe with the same set of law determining constants behave differently on different scales is not valid and the arguments put forward to support that reason should not be allowed.  What these people do not realise that they are practicing "blind" faith. Things like Multiple Universes are also based on blind faith and it can never be proven or the claim can never be measured. Just because it is ssuiting your style has no refernce to reality. Your argument is equally true as to the argument of a Christian that an all loving God created this world. You both are on the same pedestal- accept it.

So there in fact is something which we do not know- we still don't find any reason for evolution and why plants grow that why and all other stuff. We are told that "there is no reason to evolution" and that things just work that way is an attempt to suppress our mind so that we can stay and behave in their regions and sphere of belief. We will discuss the theory of evolution, theory of mechanics in later posts. Not that I don't believe in evolution, but the fact that everything just happened to be lucky? Sorry but no. Evolution did happen, but it could not happen in such a perfect (yet contradictory to our numerous predictions which should have been met) yet imperfect way. That, there is no fixed pattern in it, we could not even find what living conditions are required to actually develop even a bacteria. Evolution- what's true and what's being told to be true, we will see in detail later.

So, NOW.. we are summed up in two types of people- one who puts God in everthing and one who removes God from everything. This kind of bipolar debates are not leading us anywhere, that is a fact and our observation. It can also be true that some of the readers also will not being able to give up their bipolar belief. Wait, wither their can be a God or there is no God... what you are even talking about? That my friend, is where we enter spirituality. The purpose of this post, is to first remove this "binary" thinking pattern that where there IS something or there IS no such thing everywhere. We have to give up this "Either 0 or 1" thinking which we developed for computers and not ourselves. This "true" or "false" is the reason of chaos. "My religion is true, yours is not" , or "Everything is an accident, but certainly the order can be explained" . In Hindu philosophy, there is a teaching.. that a thing can not only be just "true" or false". A thing can be either "True", "False", "Both true or false", "Neither true nor false". And these are perfectly logical statements. We are doing it everyday, we are staying together even following different religions, our worship pattern can be different but we can still eat together. We create a diplomatic pattern in every belief or moral values in order to derive maximum pleasure for ourselves. We just have to expand our horizons. Expanding thinking is not needed, we are already that intelligent, we just have to expand our horizons and applications where we apply the thinking patterns. That's it. We have to develop more "levels" in our logical thinking than just binary. Kindly wait now for me to explain further, but the first step here is to give up binary thinking.

Thank You! In later posts, we will see about Vedanta, Vedas and other texts(without being biased about any God. Fact is, there are no much books which talks about God apart from Him "ordering" the entire humanity). Death, NDE's, sacred geometry, Evolution which fit with facts, Consciousness, ethics beyond religion and Biocentricism. I have little reach over Buddhism so anyone wanting to study about it should refer appropriate materials. Till then you can refer these videos-

Anime- How they came in my life

Or rather how I entered the amazing world of anime. Just to sum you strangers up, the word "anime" is a short for Japanese  animation products. Japanese specifically. Shows like "Spider-man" or "Batman" or "Phineas and Ferb" are cartoons not anime. Yes, pokemon is an anime as it is a Japanese creation.
It all started with the age around 8 when I, just like a normal kid was addicted to cartoons. I loved Power puff girls, Popeye, Roadrunner, Mickey and of course, Tom and Jerry! It was around at that time then,as far as I can remember, a show named as "doraemon"  had become very popular among kids. Back then, our house wasn't one of those privileged ones to have "hungama" channel streamed on the TV. But, as soon as I realized what I had been missing this while, I would just occasionally slip into my neighbor's house to catch some episodes of doraemon and Shinchan. But after, my visits become frequent at their house, I was banned entry for the sake of the "awkward" stare  which the over-conscious parents living in the house, would throw upon me. I became sad as from now, their house became impregnable. But, sooner a dear friend of mine came to rescue.

It goes somewhat like this. My home was quite far away from the school I studied in and hence my dad used to everyday pick me up from the school and escort to home. But the time at which he could arrive from his office was around 45 minutes late which I usually spent waiting idly at the school. A classmate staying near the school warmly welcomed me to his home everyday and let me watch Doraemon which coi-incidentally used to be aired on hungama at that time only, obviously along with him because at that time almost all the kids of the age were mad about this futuristic-bot-show.

"That half an hour of watching TV with him made my life"

Aptly said, right? The lessons which the show taught us around the witty tingling story in every episode were inculcated deeply in our hearts. We laughed at Nobita's stupidity but it used to turn out how amazingly he uses the "gadgets" for the right cause. We found ourselves in his overwhelming laziness and the fact that he could sleep "anywhere" and "anytime", how he hated studies and he used to end up being beaten up from nasty guys and every time he plans out a revenge, some or the other thing screws up in between, we'd love all that.

While "Doraemon" was about right things to do and the nice guy jinx, "Shinchan" was about a super naughty kid who would torture his family up to their throat. It was super funny.

Later on, our home TV also got blessed with hungama which was now the favorite place to spend time upon. Kochikame was yet another super funny show which kept me glued in.

The show was about a police officer named as Kankichi Ryotsu who has a really really screwed up life.

Then, I came across a show which I am still watching with at par enthusiasm and excitement. One fine day, when I was switching over the channels(I still remember it was 3 pm), I noticed an opening song of a show at Disney XD. Due to my love for solving puzzles and mystery cases, the name of the show caught my interest, "Detective Conan"

I immediately fell in love with it. It was just a random case solved by a mysterious boy named as Edagawa Conan, later on I discovered the real plot. The kid was actually a very famous high school detective "Kudo Shinichi" who transformed into a small boy as a side effect of a drug he was forced to inhale by a group of terrorist organization who are his main rivals. Backed by a crazy scientist who makes genius inventions for him, he jumps out into a crusade to hunt down his enemies and in the process he solves innumerable cases in the camouflage of his detective uncle whose house he stayed in who also happens to be the dad of his beloved-both being unaware of his real identity. The cases being shown were really cool, some being exceptionally great with intricate plot and diverse set of characters. Over time being, our hero faces many rivals whom he knocks one by one with his brains.
He also had a skill to know about or judge a person by his appearance or the way of clothing, the skill very similar to what Sherlock uses but at a completely different level. Conan is a self-confessed fan of Sherlock and he uses the skill over time in some cases.

Meanwhile, I am still watching episodes of it, I also saw some legendary anime which provided superb adrenaline experience and quality entertainment. This isn't any top anime list or must recommended list.. its just a veryyy short description of the amazing Japanese shows I have watched up til now, not in any specific order. Time for some adult anime, yay!

1)Death Note-

Forget about only anime, or even animation shows or even any darn show on the TV, THIS IS THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER WATCHED TILL DATE.

This is the story about two geniuses and their battle to defeat the other. A high school genius Light Yagami discovers a mysterious notebook which has powers to kill anyone on the instant his/her name is written. Having this notebook, he determines to kill every criminal from the world and become the king of his new clean world. But, things aren't that simple. Soon whole of the world police force is behind along with a yet another genius cum legendary detective "L". It soon turns out to be a battle of wits- who will come out to survive?

2)Kuroko no basket-

When I say, Death note was the best show I have ever watched, the one giving competition to it was, in turn another anime, that is Kuroko no basket. On Contrary to its first look, it is not a "basketball" specific anime. It teaches you team work, dedication and discipline.

The weekly release of 3rd season of this anime is being currently aired.
Could not hold back my excitement so I am watching again the first season episodes and I find them, still, as amazing as they were for the first time for me. Needless to say, this anime is legendary

, it can be gauged by this fact.

The Teiko Middle School had an amazing record at school level basketball, by a clean sweep over all the tournaments for last three years. Among these great players, there were five once in a decade legendary players known as "Generation of Miracles". However, along with these five prodigies there was also one player who was recognized by all of them, known as their sixth phantom guy, "Kuroko Tetsuya". All six of them join different schools in their High School. Now, in Inter High, and Winter Cup tournaments, these players fight against each other. The battle becomes too fierce to let you breathe! Amazing plot. Amazing action. Lot of feels. A must must must watch!

3)One-Outs-

This anime gets as intense as possible. A total psychological thriller it is, it revolves around baseball pitch. An insane pitcher Tokuchi Toua gambles on baseball and has a record ALL wins. He is an excellent mind reader and a psycho. A legendary baseball player discovers his talent and invites him to play for his own team. The corrupt team owner signs a crazy contract with him where Tokuchi will be paid only for all the "outs" he is able to make and will be heavily charged for giving even a single  run. Inspite of such a contract, and too many restrictions he manages to defeat all the opponents and still earn huge profit for himself! Must watch for his insane mind reading.

4) Tokyo Ghoul

Tokyo Ghoul is a vampire type anime. The are called as "ghouls".. the protagonist gets bitten by one and gets transformed into a half human-half ghoul(body parts of a ghoul is inserted in his). Morally conscience as he is, he vows not to kill humans but at the same time he cannot survive without eating them, The story develops intense with wide range of characters and pretty well-driven plot. The second season is being currently aired.

5)Another-

This one caught me up with full interest throughout. Being a very short anime, this has to be your ideal choice if you want to feel some horror while not wasting much time. A high school student enters a new school and soon gets attracted towards a girl who later on, is revealed that is visible only to him. The story is pretty dense and clings your brain into it. And a little not-so-exciting twist in the end, but a must watch for the gore and story.

6)Future Diary-

Alright, this one was a total freak-out-craziness. A school going boy writes everything happening around him in a cell phone diary. Later on, it transforms into a future diary as a part of the god's plans to set up a game among selected individuals to determine the next heir to His throne will be. Along with his, "random" diary, there are twelve other diaries and their owners who fight against each other for the throne. An another diary owner happens to be a stalker of our hero, and her love for him is portrayed as a total crazy one as she goes to an unimaginable level to protect her love. Must watch for superb story, insane violence and a super amazing twist at the end!

7) One-Piece

Its a very long anime but an absolute epic. You have got to be real patient while watching this as the real story actually develops after around 60th episode but what follows is definitely worth the wait. The protagonist, Luffy, is a pirate made of rubber who vows to find a national treasure, "One Piece" and thus become the biggest pirate in the world. And in the journey, he faces a loathsome amount of rivals and allies. This anime is loaded with full of feels and its definitely must watch for the adventures and amazing arcs.

8)Code Geass-

In the near future, Japan is captured by Britishers and is called as "Area 11". This story is about a brilliant fighter who gets a super power to control anybody's brain just for once. With this power, he gets onto fight with the invaders to free his country.

9)Slam Dunk-

An aggressive athlete enters the world of basketball to impress his crush whose brother happens to be the captain of the school basketball team. Being dumped by girls many times before, Hanamichi(our hero) determines to make this love story of his successful. He's a fast learner with innate jumping power but is jealous with his own teammate- a legendary basketball player Rukawa and practices hard to be better than him. The matches are super-exciting, packed with loads of humor. You will simply love this anime!

I am very well aware of the fact that I have missed some legendary once in a lifetime anime such as Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z,Naruto, Bleach, etc. I have plans regarding watching them too!
Anime will always occupy very very special place in my heart. As they go on to entertain me,inspire me and teach me, I will be forever thankful to them, Hail!

Philosophers I love- Lao Tzu

You cannot discuss Chinese literature without discussing Lao Tzu. A great philosopher and founder of Taoism, one of the important tradition ...
